Harriers
After excessive turkey / cake / chocolate consumption over the festive period (speaking for myself), a few hardy Harriers felt a challenging, undulating 10 miler might just do the trick to spruce us up for the end the year.
After a ridiculously spontaneous start (where some people were still chatting, waiting for an announcement, when a klaxon went off without warning) the race settled into a wander along undulating and winding lanes before a pretty decent and challenging mile or so of ascent at Hush Heath at around 6 miles. The remainder was flat and downhill, albeit with some cheeky kick-ups to a finish in a housing estate.
Lovely clear, fine and non windy conditions set up a good race.
A very local race but well organised and an attractive if not stereotypical PB course.
A good turnout of Harriers and results (Gun time I think) as below (apologies as only know a few PBs)
