The Easter Saturday brought out 87 harriers and 12 volunteers, who together achieved 3 new PBs, with a massive 21 first timers.
This is the highest number of parkrunners we’ve ever had (since Autobob), as well as the highest number of different events with 20 parkruns represented! The medians being 68 harriers and 16 parkruns.
Another record with 8 new parkruns to write silly things about – Great Yarmouth North Beach (watch out for Norfolk Broads), Pennington Flash (one for Mark Taylor), Hackney Marshes (Hackney has marshes?), Jamaica Pond (a warmup for Boston marathon), Stewart Park (up North in Boro), Karpendonkse Plas (what’s the combined height change of all Dutch parkruns?), Aberystwyth (population: 60% students) and finally FeldyRoo Fitness Trail (up near Loch Tay)
Notable results for Alex H continuing his run of performances, Dillon H and Hannah R and David W setting season bests too.
