Despite a our second KGP race at Deal and a load of people out running training for our half marathon next week, we still had 69 harriers and 9 helpers out at parkrun.
A massive 16 first timers and 2 PBs.
Another 3 new parkruns this week – Y Promenâd, Abermaw (unsurprisingly in Wales), Homewood (Ottershaw, a village that is 80% golf club) and Birchall Playing Fields (Leek, interestingly this is next to where Google Maps has updated a few square miles when it snowed this year). Nathan And Jen also went to Valentines parkrun, awwww etc.
Notable results outside of the usuals from Paddy B setting a crazy fast time; and a great time and new year best for Simon H
Well done everyone, next week’s results will likely be delayed until Monday due to the half. I also expect with so much on numbers will be down anyway!
