Afternoon all,
Quick message about RTW parkrun on Saturday, Sept 7, when the Harriers are holding a friendly takeover!
This will be the third successive year that we have held the takeover, which is a great opportunity to promote the club to local runners, and it is a lovely social occasion too. Please join us in Dunorlan Park on Sept 7 if you can.
The more involvement we have from Harriers, the more successful the takeover. That’s how it works!
RTW parkrun will have many of its regular volunteers on hand, but we need Harriers in three particular areas:
1. Pacers (20-45 mins inclusive, with options for faster pace times if preferred)
2. Marshals (Enthusiastic support is always appreciated by parkrunners and makes TWH look really welcoming!)
3. Cake stand & home baking (We will dust off the club gazebo & need lots of cakes to share around)
Harriers are welcome to fulfil other volunteer roles if they prefer, depending on roster availability.
