Greetings Harriers,
Sunday was a busy day for some.
Sittingbourne…….
Tonbridge…….
But the big stage prize goes to TWH’s ageless couple at the World Athletics World Running Championships in Riga, Latvia.
Upstairs at the Nevill is closed for repair for a month or two, so like last week we are going to utilise the fine facilities of the Nevill Tennis Club next door to us for our post-run refreshment. In addition we have our exciting and not to be missed cross country presentation from the king and queen of TWH XC.
So after the run/shower head over to the tennis club cafe – the perfect temporary home for the top seeds of Kent running.
We have Alex Jeffreys as this week’s Routemaster
, so fasten your seat belts and here we go ……

This week we have a route out Rusthall way that Alex put together for us back in December 2018.
Standard route 7.2 miles
Short route 5.6 miles
The route is mostly lit but sections along Langton Road, Dorndon Drive and Hurstwood Lane are not well lit so you will benefit from wearing a head torch. Try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests and newer members.
Please make sure you are wearing something hi vis.
Current forecast for Wednesday is for a dry and mild 14C.
7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers are open, afters at the Tennis Club – it’s time to commit !
