Greetings Harriers,
No, not a route for Sonja and Mike and not even Charley (our new road race captain) but good old Charles III.
He might get around in style …
But for the rest of us its shocking roads and very muddy paths …..
The temperature has gone up a little, the rain has reduced a little, and its now MAY, so here goes.
This week we have a Simon Howden classic from 2015.
Regular TW park runners will be familiar with the delights of Dunorlan Park, but this week we can all go there and with less rain recently it should be “relatively” mud free.
There is some off road in the first 3 miles but road shoes will be fine (just don’t wear your brand new ones).
So, with Simon as this week’s Routemaster , fasten your seat belts and here we go ……
We have a 7.2 mile long route and a short route of 5.1 miles – something for everyone.
No head torch will be needed this week but please make sure you are wearing something hi vis.
Current forecast for Wednesday is for a dry and mild 12C.
The cricket club crew host us in the bar afterwards selling the finest beer (Harveys), AF lager and ale, wine and soft drinks in the immediate vicinity, at special prices, so why not relax and have a drink with friends before you head home.
7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
