TWH run – Wednesday 30th April 2025 – Bluebell time

Club Events
Greetings Harriers
Sadly no ice cream (unless our Chaiman is feeling particularly generous) but you might see a few bluebells in the woods this week.
Now that we are in British Summer Time we can venture off the tarmac and pavement, well at least a little bit, and see plenty of the emerging bluebells.
This week we have a Nicky White classic from 2012.
So with Nicky as  this week’s Routemaster 🚌, fasten your seat belts and here we go ……
We sample the delights of High Rocks and Langton borders before returning through Rusthall.
We have a 7.8 mile long route and a short route of 6.2 miles – something for everyone.
There is some off road in the first four miles. It shouldn’t be particularly muddy but you might want to leave your expensive new race shoes at home.
Whether you’re training hard, tapering , recovering from your weekend marathon, or just want to run with your friends, there is something for you.
This week’s route is mostly well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and wear something bright and hi viz.
Current forecast for Wednesday is a very warm 19C.
Map and GPX attached.
There is also a walking group that sets off at the same time. So if you’re injured, tired or just want to do a funny walk come along and walk with friends.
Our tail runners this week are Dan Foster (short) and tbc (long).
If you want to take it easier before a race or just want to join the fun at the back please step forward ….
Hugo from the cricket club hosts us in the bar afterwards selling the finest beer, AF lager and ale, wine and soft drinks in the vicinity, at special prices, so why not relax and have a drink with friends before you head home.
Maybe he will make you an Absolut Blue Bell.

7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
