Greetings Harriers,
Last week we had a Rosie Harris route and this week it is a Saul Harris route.
They aren’t the only Harris’s running these days

And we all know of a George that could run (even if he isn’t of the Harris variety)

For all those that think our George will win at Beachy Head on Saturday, there is only one word for it ….

But he will be brave, like the rest of the TWH Beachy Head marathon crew.
So with Saul Harris as this week’s Routemaster
, fasten your seat belts and here we go ……
This week we have a route up to the Culverden Down and Springhead parts of town, that Saul Harris put together for us back in 2017.
Standard route 7.2 miles
Short route 5.4 miles
This week’s route is well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and wear something bright and hi viz.
Our 2 tail runners this week are the tapering Frankfurt-ready Colin Ricketts (short) and the always race ready Nick Pierce (long).
Whether you’re training hard, tapering, recovering from your weekend racing, preparing for your next park run or just want to run with your friends, there is something for you.
Current forecast for Wednesday is for a dry and cooler 11C.
Map and GPX attached.
There is also a walking group that sets off at the same time. So if you’re injured, tired or tapering come along and walk with friends. No excuses !
Tea Total Trevor and Rocky host us in the bar afterwards selling the finest beer, AF lager and ale, wine and soft drinks in the vicinity, at special prices, so why not relax and have a drink with friends before you head home.

7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
