With the brilliant Mark Taylor Birthday Hash now sadly behind us, here is a chance to make the most of this lovely dry and sunny weather with a traditional TWH off road summer run (we have the delightful club 10k handicap the following week).
This week’s run is a repeat of one Chairman John Hepner set for us in May 2017, where we head out to Frant Church followed by a run along Gordon’s Muddy Path for the more adventurous.
The full route is 7.5 miles and the shorter route is 5.4 miles, with an option of even less by running back to the club from Frant Church in reverse.
No head torch will be needed this week.
Current forecast is for a sunny and dry 16C.
You must wear something bright and hi vis.
Come along and enjoy yourselves – the following week is the second club handicap (sharp intake of breath)
The girls from the Hockey club will be behind the bar as usual upstairs after the run with the finest beer (Harveys), wine and soft drinks in the immediate vicinity (at keen prices).
With no school or work on Thursday I’m hopeful a few more might attend the 10:30pm curry at the Bengal Brasserie afterwards – old and new faces welcome.
7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
