Greetings Harriers,
Were you worried that your Saturday afternoon TV viewing of Flog It would be replaced by people running around indoors ?

As iPlayer came to the rescue, Keely succumbed to a hamstring injury. It still made good viewing though.
There are other uses for the letter K, such as K Pop …….

And most of us remember Kermit ……

This week’s run is a repeat of one that Lloyd Collier set for us a few years back. Some of you might not remember Lloyd, but if I tell you he was our kit manager who was very much at home in a pair of tight shorts and a bare chest, it might jog a memory or two. Lloyd is first or second claim member of more running and triathlon clubs than I have had hot curries, but he does run with us from time to time. He somehow seems to have incorporated all the major climbs in Tunbridge Wells into this route – a testament to his dedication.
So, with Lloyd as this week’s Routemaster
, fasten your seat belts and let’s go ……
, fasten your seat belts and let’s go ……Whether you are returning from skiing, recovering from Sunday’s HM, preparing for the TW half marathon, marathon training run or just want to run with your friends, there is something for you.
The long route is 7.9 miles and the short route is 6.1 miles – something for everyone.
This week’s route is mostly well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and wear something bright.
A head torch will be needed this week for the offroad section on Camden Park (turn off at the AXA building).
Current forecast for Wednesday is for 8C.
Map and GPX attached.
There is also a walking group that sets off at the same time. So if you’re injured, tired or just like to dress up, come along and walk with friends.

Our tail runners this week are Geoff Hurrell (short) and Colin Ricketts (long).
If you want to take it easier before a race or just want to join the fun at the back please step forward ….
Tea Total Trevor and Rocky host us in the bar afterwards selling the finest beer, AF lager and ale, wine and soft drinks in the vicinity, at special prices, so why not relax and have a drink with friends before you head home.
7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
