Good day Harriers,
If your approach to running resembles everything everywhere then you will now be feeling vindicated.
If you are a football fan with an unclear approach to social media, then you will be pleased that Gary is back, but we once again we see how perilous being a chairman can be.
Will Gary reveal all again ?
This week’s run is a new one set by TWH stalwart, author and singer, yes, our very own Terry Everest. The route is a little complicated (well, what did you expect ?) with all the doubling back, but basically there’s a red line for reach time you go along the route so there are four lines up High St / Mt Pleasant as we’ll go up it twice and down it twice.
Simples and its a chance to see lots of Harriers on route.
So, with Terry as this week’s Routemaster , fasten your seat belts and let’s go ……
Whether you are returning from skiing, recovering from your weekend marathon training run, or just want to run with your friends, there is something for you.
The route is 6.1 miles and there are infinite shorter (and longer !) options – something for everyone.
This week’s route is mostly well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and wear something bright with a head torch helpful in Calverley Park.
Current forecast for Wednesday is for a rather uneventful 6C.
Tea Total Trevor and Chris are hosting us in the bar afterwards, selling the finest beer (Harveys), AF lager and ale, wine and soft drinks in the immediate vicinity, at special prices, with crack sidekick, Rocky, so why not relax and have a drink with your friends before you head home.
7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
