Good morning Harriers,
(Good afternoon to those Harriers that stayed up late to watch Rihanna at the Super Bowl halftime show.)
Its that time of the year, when we might need to choose between one or the other, or perhaps not ?
Nina had 99 red balloons and something else as well …..
The best balloons use to belong to China
An old friend of ours has had an overinflated view of himself for some time
This week’s run is a repeat of one that long serving committee member Peter Richardson set for us a while back. All of your favourite roads are in there, although you might not be running them in your favourite direction !
So, with Peter as this week’s Routemaster , fasten your seat belts and let’s go ……in a High Brooms direction.
Whether you are returning from skiing, recovering from Saturday’s XC, preparing for Sunday’s HM, marathon training run or just want to run with your friends, there is something for you.
The long route is 7.8 miles and the short route 5.6 miles – something for everyone.
This week’s route is mostly well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and wear something bright with a head torch an optional accessory.
Current forecast for Wednesday is for a dry and pleasant 8C.
Tea Total Trevor is hosting us in the bar afterwards, selling the finest beer (Harveys), AF lager and ale, wine and soft drinks in the immediate vicinity, at special prices, with his crack sidekick, Rocky, so why not relax and have a drink with your friends before you head home.
7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
