TWH run – 18.10.23 – Don’t let the bed bugs bite

Club Events

Greetings Harriers,
We’ll having you running faster than a bed bug on the Paris metro

So with Rosie Harris as this week’s Routemaster 🚌, fasten your seat belts and here we go ……
This week we have a route up to Powder Mills Lane that our route mistress and long standing former Social Secretary, Rosie Harris put together for us back in March 2019.
Standard route 7.2 miles

Short route 5.4 miles

This week’s route is well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and those still recovering from the Footscray Meadow cross country.

All on road, so best to wear hi vis or something bright and feel free to get your new pair of single use Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 out of the box and on the tarmac.
Current forecast for Wednesday is for damp and 16C.
The Nevill is closed for repair for a month or two, so like last week we are going to utilise the fine facilities of the Nevill Tennis Club next door to us for baggage and post run showers followed by our post-run refreshment. Turnout has been great and we want to keep that going.

So after the run head over to the tennis club – the perfect temporary home for the top seeds of Kent running.

7:30 prompt start from the Nevill carpark – Tennis Club change rooms and showers are open, then its afters upstairs at the Tennis Club – it’s time to commit !
