Greetings Harriers, Veganuarians and Dry Januarians,
The weather intervened last week ……

If your efforts on the ice last week were not as accomplished as Torvill and Dean

Then let’s give it another try.
This week’s run is a repeat of one that former member Alice Heather-Hayes set for us a while back.

So, with “Who the **** is Alice ?” as this week’s Routemaster , fasten your seat belts and lets go ……no Ramslye or Rusthall or High Rocks or High Brooms as this week we stay within the confines of central Tunbridge Wells.
The full route is 7.5 miles with a shorter route of 4.9 miles – something for everyone. (doing the short run just to get a hot shower will be frowned upon)
This week’s route is mostly well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and wear something bright / hi vis with a head torch an optional accessory (might be handy for Castle Road).
The bottom half of Major Yorks Rd can be icy so be careful.
Our tail runners this week are Joan Woodward (short) and tbc (long).
If you want to take it easier before a race or just want to join the fun at the back please step forward ….
Map attached.
There is also a walking group that sets off at the same time so if you’re injured, tired or just fancy a walk with friends come along.

Current forecast for Wednesday is for a dry and almost tropical 6C.
Tea Total Trevor and Rocky host us in the bar afterwards selling the finest beer, AF lager and ale, wine and soft drinks in the vicinity, at special prices, so why not relax and have a drink with friends before you head home.

7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
