I won’t be there this week as I’m in the Shropshire Hills with the chairman doing a first recce for next years club tour. So, with my ghost as this week’s Routemaster 🚌, fasten your seat belts and here we go ……

A small number of you might appreciate my attempt at some farmyard Strava art. Feel free to ignore it and focus your attention on the ghouls and ghosts that may be out on the streets with us.

Brave the elements and enjoy this Halloween treat – running is fun !

Standard route 7.5 miles
Short route 5.3 miles (if you leave out the chicken feet).

This week’s route is mostly well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and wear something bright and bring a head torch if you can, especially if you want to explore Woodbury Park or if you want to run the loop around the K&S cemetery .

All on road, so best to wear hi vis or something bright and feel free to get your new pair of single use Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 out of the box and on the tarmac.

Current forecast for Wednesday is for a dry 10C.

The Nevill is closed for repair for a month or two, so like last week we are going to utilise the fine facilities of the Nevill Tennis Club next door to us for baggage and post run showers followed by our post-run refreshment. Turnout has been great and we want to keep that going.

So after the run head over to the tennis club – the perfect temporary home for the top seeds of Kent running.

The ideal place to relax and chill ?
