TWH Club Run – Wednesday 6th April 2022

Club Events
Greetings Harriers,
This week is club stalwart, Matt Clements, last run with us before he returns to Melbourne to join up with his family.
Have a quick chat with him beforehand or join him on the run or perhaps have a quiet drink with him at the bar afterwards.
Matt and Pru have been members of the club for over a decade and their brand of hard work, humour and of course ANZAC biscuits will be sorely missed.
Now that the clocks have gone forward, we can venture off the tarmac and pavement, well at least a little bit.
I’m again this week’s Routemaster 🚌, so fasten your seat belts and here we go ……
This week’s run is a repeat of a Simon Allford special from 2012. Simon has been a club member for over 20 years and has competed for the club in a wide range of events. Most recently he has been celebrating his football club, Brentford’s success over the Premiership big boys.
We have a 7.5 mile long route, a medium route of 5.9 miles  and a short route of 5.1 miles  – something for everyone.
There is a tiny bit of off road at the beginning but road shoes will be fine.

No head torch will be needed this week.

Current forecast is for a rather windy 9C.
You must wear something bright and hi vis.
Smiley Chris will be behind the bar as usual upstairs after the run with his special brand of humour and the finest beer (Harveys), wine and soft drinks in the immediate vicinity.
7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
