Greetings Harriers,
We know TW has many big hills, but Stella has chosen a special one for you this week.
Now that we are in British Summer Time we can venture off the tarmac and pavement, well at least a little bit..
I’m again this week’s Routemaster , so fasten your seat belts and here we go ……
This week we have a Stella classic from 2011.
We sample the delights of the Common and Cabbage Stalk Lane before embarking upon the challenge that is Tea Garden Lane.
The Beacon in Tea Garden Lane offers some of the best views in TW.
We have a 6.7 mile long route and a short route of 5.2 miles – something for everyone.
There is some off road in the first two miles but road shoes will be fine.
No head torch will be needed this week.
Current forecast is for a sunny 12C.
You must wear something bright and hi vis.
Smiley Chris (?) will be behind the bar as usual upstairs after the run with his special brand of humour and the finest beer (Harveys), wine and soft drinks in the immediate vicinity.
7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
Geoff Turner
