Here is the latest ‘weekly’ update on club records…
On Saturday at the Westminster Mile races in London there were two new records.
Colin Ricketts set a new M60 record of 6:26, beating the record previously held by Peter Richardson.
Michele Bradshaw set a new F65 record of 6:56, improving her own record set in May this year.
On Sunday there were three further records.
Michele Bradshaw set a new F65 10k record at the Vitality 10,000 in London, with a time of 52:04 beating the previous record held by Margaret Deighton.
At the Larkfield 10k, Steve Austin set his latest M65 record, running 43.51 to shave three seconds from the record held previously by Mike Jarvis.
Also at the Larkfield 10k, Tara Taylor broke the F55 record with a time of 45.18 breaking the previous record held by Michele Bradshaw.
That makes forty new club road records set for the year so far!
