The bank holiday weekend saw a number of new club records across different events.
First up on Friday 2nd was Margaret Deighton setting an inaugural F70 road mile of 8.58 at the monthly Ealing Mile race.
On Bank Holiday Monday, there was a new F35 record in the Hildenborough 5 mile race by Ashley Fennell (29:16) setting her first – but I suspect not last – club record.
In the Hildenborough 2.5m race there were inaugural AG records for F50 Ali Farrall (18:04), M60 Andrew Deighton (19:27) and F70 Margaret Deighton (25:11), while F65 Stella Richardson (22:32) and F40 Gemma Sumner (23:46) both improved their own records.
Finally, last night at the latest Tonbridge Open track meeting there was a new F40 record in the 200m set by Vicky Eames (30:06).
Vicky broke the record that had been held since 1997 by…..Jo Eames.
