Firstly, congratulations to all our marathon runners yesterday at London, Manchester and Stratford-upon-Avon.
At the London Marathon yesterday, Steve Austin improved his own M65 club record by seven minutes, posting a new best time of 3:27:38.
Congratulations Steve.
Also in London, Amelie Karlsson moved up to 4th place in the all time female Harrier marathon rankings with her time of 3:08:49.
Dillon Hobbs set the second ever fastest marathon by a Harrier with 2:30:51 (with only his own club record of 2023 being quicker) and I believe his time ranks Dillon 2nd U23 in the UK for the marathon so far in 2025.
While in the Manchester Marathon, Keith Mitchell became the 53rd male Harrier to break 3 hours, with his time of 2:59:08.
