Hi Harriers
We finally had our sunny weather but as you will have already read, when combined with a very challenging course, the aged graded percentages were around 10% down on usual.
Special mention goes to Amelie Karlsson, Sonya King and Eren Muduroglu who put in gritty performances not far off their usual best.
We had first KGP appearances from the very brave Marcus Bird and Aitor Luengo Martinez – chapeau/ bravo !
Results for the Chislehurst HM are as follows:-
Results after the first 6 races are attached.
With 4 events (2 x 5M, 10K & HM) still to go, there is still plenty to play for.
Don’t let Jillian, Ali and Eren have it all their own way.
The next event in the Grand Prix is the Eltham Park 5 Mile on Sunday 16th June, “The route follows the paths and trails of Eltham Park South and Oxleas Woods against a backdrop of early summer woodland and enthusiastic crowds.”

The club road Grand Prix Trophy is designed to encourage Harriers to race more often, and on equal terms with all other members as the results are adjusted for age and gender. Each race of the ten Kent Grand Prix series counts towards our club road grand prix with a percentage result based on finishing time, age and gender. This percentage is calculated according to the 2015 WAVA scale. The winner is the runner with the best score at the end of the season, that is the average of their best five percentages over the series.
Age graded Percentage guidelines:-
100% Approximate world record level
Above 90% World Class Level
Above 80% National Class Level
Above 70% Regional Class Level
Above 60% Local Class Level
