Hi Harriers
Following an early morning warmup of car park duties and the like, a swarm of Harriers indulged themselves in the undulating and scenic 13.1 miles course around our fine town, spurred on by well wishers and delightful marshals. Seventy two members competed (up from last year’s TWH KGP record of 62), of which 20 were first time TWH KGP runners.
Performances were spectacular at the front of the race with Dillon, Mark and Alex leading the way, but there was plenty 50+ age group action behind them from the likes of Ali Farrall and Steve Boulton, but no more so than Tara Taylor who stormed to the top of our leader board.

Results for the first 2 races are attached.
The next event in the Grand Prix is the Paddock Wood HM on Sunday.
It’s time to commit.
The club road Grand Prix Trophy is designed to encourage Harriers to race more often, and on equal terms with all other members as the results are adjusted for age and gender. Each race of theten Kent Grand Prix series counts towards our club road grand prix with a percentage result based on finishing time, age and gender. This percentage is calculated according to the 2015 WAVA scale. The winner is the runner with the best score at the end of the season, that is the average of their bestfive percentages over the series.
Age graded Percentage guidelines:-
100% Approximate world record level
Above 90% World Class Level
Above 80% National Class Level
Above 70% Regional Class Level
Above 60% Local Class Level
