We are 15 weeks away from our half marathon and the main event for the club – 9:00am Sunday February 23rd 2025 (annoyingly the day after the nationals!)
As I mentioned at the half marathon presentation evening/seminar on Wednesday, I am the volunteer coordinator responsible for pulling together as many of you, your friends and family and nearby organisations that we need to put this event on.
Even if the whole club membership helped out, we still wouldn’t have enough to put this race on, that’s how much help we need.
2025 is likely to be a Kent Grand Prix event again and we appreciate you may want to run the event.
What we ask is that you have a think about what you can do as a club member to help out the event. If you really want to race, why not ask a non-harrier or family member over the Christmas period if they can help out in your place. There are many jobs that can be done on the day.
So, I apologise that its another presentation, but please have a skim through this as it covers all the different positions I’ll be asking for help with.
