Hi,
Just a quick note to say that a deckchair was spotted last Saturday in Pendle, Lancashire. Where the witches come from, apparently…
Running on tired legs I found this a tough course with six big climbs, four river crossings, lots of bog and an extremely long steep descent known locally as ‘Geronimo’. I clocked 16.6 miles and 4,444 feet of ascent. Similar in effort terms to the 3 Peaks Race I would say. Great fun though, the weather was kind and the pint of locally brewed Blond Witch much appreciated at the finish.
