Afternoon all.
I could do with another five volunteers. If you are up for it, pls read the info below & let me know.
On Sunday 27th April, we will send a group of marshals to the TCS London Marathon.
We look after the section of course, starting from the Blue start (Mass start), next to Blackheath, up to and just past the ‘Sun in the Sands’ roundabout.
It’s an early start, travelling up by coach, where we then setup (Not much to do).
We then marshal the course while the runners pass by. You will see many Harriers at this point.
Once all the runners have come through, we clear up & get back on the coach.
The coach will then go back to Tunbridge Wells. Those of you who wish to watch the race further up the course can make your own way into town.
Those of you who have marshalled in previous years, please wear your NB cap, t-shirt & jacket, which was issued in 2024 or 2023.
Those of you who are new to this, you will be issued kit.
