There were 10 Harriers (and Dillon) taking part in the End of Year 10 on Sunday, starting and finishing in Staplehurst. Conditions were perfect, and the course is relatively flat and fast, barring a slight incline after 6 miles. There were no PBs, but Rose, Marc and Gemma were running their first 10 mile races as Harriers; Steve was the 2nd M60 runner and Gemma, Kelvin, Mike and myself won the team prize (the fastest cumulative time for 4 club runners, including a lady) I have the trophies (as well as bottles of Lidl’s finest lager) for the team, which I shall bring along to the club.
