Dear Harriers
Another month, another end of month run in Hyde Park of course.
Perfect running weather and the last week of school holidays attracted a field of 232 to the capital’s favourite lunch time 5k.
A growing number of Harriers either made it a day trip to the big smoke or escaped from their London desk for some lunch time fresh air.
The presence of Dillon and Mark Mellor added some star quality at the front of the race while all the other Harriers featured strongly in their age categories.
Club records for Michele Bradshaw F65, Geoff Turner M60 and Steve Austin M65.
Pre race lakeside coffee and post race Lebanese lunch at Habyebna hit the spot.
Ali Farrall is 5th in the 2024 Overall Championship with an aged graded % of 81.3% (min 6 races needed) and Mark Godsalve is not far behind in 9th.
