Another month, another end-of-month run in Hyde Park of course.
Pleasant running weather and half-term school holidays for some attracted a field of 202 to the capital’s favourite lunch time 5k.
A growing number of Harriers either made it a day trip to the big smoke or escaped from their London desk for some lunch time fresh air.
Three Harriers even used it as a warm-up event for the Beachy Head Marathon that would start 20 hours later.
Although we missed some star quality at the front of the race, Harriers featured strongly in their age categories.
Club records (awaiting official confirmation from Deights) for Geoff Turner M60 and Steve Austin M65.
Prerrace lakeside coffee and post-race Lebanese lunch at Habyebna hit the spot.
