I don’t know if there were any other Harriers among the 30,000 taking part in the various races making up the Run in Lyon series as the results don’t have a club search and I didn’t see any!
Being on holiday in Lyon I entered the half marathon. It was very well organised, an interesting route (apart from an airless road tunnel that stretched for almost 2K) and good food at the end. I had a nice chat with a chap who used to run with TAC and that helped a lot as I had set off rather ambitiously!
Having recently had trouble with my hip I wasn’t expecting much but was happy to finish in 2:09:15 with no pain!
Looking forward to the XC on Saturday
