Race Report: Tonbridge Half

Reports

Like Rose says, couldn’t have picked a more beautiful early autumn day to go for a run.

I’m sure people are familiar with the Tonbridge half, but I do like this route, lots of corners and ups and downs so leaving you less opportunity to ponder over how far you have left to go – and you can’t beat the English countryside on days like today.

Great support throughout the run, quite a few harriers offering their encouragement. The return corner through Leigh feels electric as you pass through (no doubt all orchestrated by Dave Haddaway) and definitely gives the impetus to hang on for the last few miles

Well done to all runners – and thanks for the supporters + pacers!
