Race Report – The Big Half

Reports

OK here we go my first race report. 9 Harriers ventured to London for The Big Half this morning, not an easy journey as no Trains were calling at London Bridge Station, so we chose to drive to O2 and then underground, then a very long walk to the start.

When I arrived at the start I realised that the wave start was out the window and you could start when you wanted, so after a quick warm-up and a long wait for the loo off I went.

After setting off at world record pace and overtaking everyone I settled into a more sensible pace, and started to enjoy the atmosphere of running with 13000 other runners, running conditions were perfect for me overcast and not too hot, I very much enjoyed running across Tower Bridge, I hope every one else enjoyed the race as much as I did, oh did I mention I got PB, hopefully results appear below.
