I have just received the tragic news that Mike Jarvis collapsed and died at home yesterday.
Although he was in his eighties he was always seen as being very fit for his age and could be seen three times a week at Tonbridge Swimming Pool ploughing his way up and down leaving Pete Jeffrey and me in his wake. I shall write more when I have more information about his funeral etc.
The one thing I know is that Mike would wish our Tuesday evening training sessions to carry on without him and next Tuesday 31st May is no different, although we shall pause before the session to reflect on his contribution to the Club and for always being there for so many of us.
It would be really nice to see as many of you as possible.
