Fellow Harriers.
Just to advise that next Wednesday 1st June will be my annual hash night – slightly delayed this year due to other events. Consequently there will be NO run from the Nevill on Wednesday 1st June.
Instead meet at the Fleur De Lis at Leigh as last year TN11 8RL.
Please car share if you can as parking is limited at the pub although you can park around ‘the green’.
Apologies for the same venue but the run is very different. The run will commence from the ‘The Green’ adjacent to the village school a short walk from the pub and will start at 7:30 prompt so that everyone gets round in daylight.
For those unfamiliar with ‘hashing’ a trail will be laid marking the route with both flour and sawdust and there will be a number of checks to slow the faster ones down. At a check you have to find the where the trail continues with 3 marks. Very simple you just follow the flour/ sawdust marks – no marks no trail !!. There will be trails of approx 2.5 for the walkers, 4.5 for those who want a shorter run and 6 ish for the full route.
Afterwards I have arranged for subsidised drinks and there will be a buffet spread as last year with vegge option as well (served around 9 o’clock). This part on me and part on the Half Marathon in appreciation of your assistance in producing another brilliant day back on February 21st.
