Well done to our small team of deckchairs that braved the Thanet sunshine and completed the Kent Coastal Marathon yesterday morning.
I will leave the details to those that ran, but i believe Lesley got Bronze in the F35 category, so very well done!
Here are the individual TWH results. In total 146 people ran with Bradley Cameron (Thanet Road Runners) first man in 2:46:45 and Charlotte Bates (Maidstone Harriers) first lady in 3:19:40.

So after eight races here’s how the tables look, NOTE i have already deducted the lowest scoring race from each team to give a true comparison
Men (first six to score for team)
- Orpington Road Runners – 3,261
- Tunbridge Wells Harriers – 3,175
- Dartford Road Runners – 2,211
- Maidstone Harriers – 2,158
- Thanet Road Runners – 1,839
Ladies (first four to score for team)
- Tunbridge Wells Harriers – 1,101
- Orpington Road Runners – 964
- Maidstone Harriers – 682
- Dartford Road Runners – 596
- Petts Wood Runners – 526
The men drop to second and are now 100pts behind, but the ladies hold on to their commanding lead! SO ALL TO PLAY FOR at Larkfield 10K and Tonbridge HM
Remember it always great to have a minimum team of ten (six men and four ladies) to collect the maximum KGP points, which count towards the team scores. But, as always, the more the merrier as you take points away from the competition.
What’s next and how can I sign-up?
