Afternoon Harriers
The final Kent XC League race of the season will take place this Saturday at Norman Park, Bromley. Please note that this race is for senior men and women only.
Please find attached a course map as well as a list of TWH entries. Directions and race times are listed below.
We will be there early to collect race numbers for the two new entries. We also have a number of unused race numbers from previous races. Don’t forget to bring some safety pins to attach your number! Please note that there are no entries on the day (please check the attached entries list to make sure that you have been entered).
If you have run at any of the previous League events, don’t forget to bring your Kent XC League race number — replacements cost £5!
The course is suitable for spikes.
Reminder: all runners must wear club kit (deckchair and dark coloured shorts/leggings) — David Castle has a stock of deckchairs at the Running Hub if you don’t have one, have misplaced yours, or need a new one.
LIFT SHARING
Please try and share cars where possible from St Johns Sports Centre. If you are able to give other people a lift or need a lift yourself, please post a message in the club Facebook group and arrange individually. If you don’t use Facebook please contact us or someone else who can post a request for you.
DIRECTIONS
Please note that the usual car park just off Bromley Common Road (A21) will be closed on Saturday. Please use the track car park off Hayes Lane. The top end of Hayes Lane (just after Hayes village) was closed this morning for road works so probably best to follow the directions below in case it is still closed on Saturday.
From the M25, J4 follow the A21 towards Bromley. At the Locksbottom traffic lights (Chapter One restaurant on the left) continue straight on towards Bromley. Continue past the usual entrance to Norman Park towards the town centre and turn left at the traffic lights, signed Hayes B265.
Go past Ravensbourne School on the right and Bromley Football Club on the left and, at the next mini roundabout, turn left through a set of large metal gates and into the track car park. Post code for Norman Park Track: BR2 9EJ.

APRES RACE REFRESHMENTS
The Bull’s Head, Pratts Bottom (bottom of Rushmore Hill), BR6 7NQ. A short distance from the A21 on the return to the M25. There is a large car park just past the pub on the left.
