I trust everyone is well and keeping up with their running?
First up, this weekend (11-13 July) is the EA Virtual 5km Champs https://data.opentrack.run/en-gb/x/2020/GBR/ea_5k/
In terms of results from June then we had the British masters 5km with 28 Harriers taking part, Will Levett was the fastest male in 16:16 with Pru Clements being the fastest lady in 21:29. We had 3 complete teams in the male categories and two complete teams in the Ladies W45 category. So well done all! Please see below for individual and team results.
There was also the BMC 3km (see below), which 4 Harriers took part (I injured myself and couldn’t post a time). An impressive performance from Patrick in 10 minutes flat and Sonja managing to be the first and last lady in 14:21.
Lastly there was also the June challenge, set by Kate Naylor this month (4.6 km). This was possibly one of the hardest ever with a 70m climb to the finish. However this is clearly a strength of Kate’s as she won (beating Hayley for a second month in a row) in an excellent 22:18. In the men’s competition James Sarre took an excellent win in 19:45 (Dillon blames his GPS J ). James must be on some lockdown steroids as he has also taken all 4 of June’s Tri club 5km segments as well! July’s segment is a footpath event from Rusthall to Groombridge https://www.strava.com/clubs/310990/posts/10604447
