~ this month, as well as the latest Kent Grand Prix race, it’s the third handicap race of the season and the inaugural TAC relays at Penshurst
~ if you’re looking for quick times over shorter distances, there are a few members heading to Battersea (9th) and Hyde Park (26th) as well as a couple of flat fast 10ks, including the start of this years Rye Summer Series – check it out if you’ve never been before
~ Don’t forget we have a weekly Club Yoga class with Claire via Zoom. At just £5 per class, it’s a great way to build strength and flexibility
~ After this months GTE (see email from Ed Steele), August sees the welcome return of the Annual BBQ on Sunday 11th (more details to follow from Cordy) and our sociable Summer Memorial Relay Evening is on Wed 28th, so pop the dates in your diaries
~ There are also now confirmed dates for other club events on the updated calendar including; Annual Anniversary Run on Forest Way (Sun 27th Oct), Airmans Grave Run on Ashdown Forest (Sunday 10th Nov), Run Out Lunch to who knows where ( Sun 1st Dec) and Xmas Lights Run/Fish & Chip Night (Wed 18th Dec)
– The Annual Club Quiz is planned for October( no date yet) but we do need a new quizmaster…..please contact Cordy Kent, if you’d be willing to take over from Bob.
