Hospice in the Weald Moonlight Walk

News
Hi all,
I sent an email around on this one earlier in the year and the Hospice are still looking for volunteers, so please let me know if you’re free this weekend and fancy helping out.
Thanks,
Keith

Afternoon Harriers,

Hospice in the Weald have been in touch to see if we can help with volunteers for their Moonlight Walk in June (details below).

Please let me know if you’re interested in helping out and I’ll go back to them.

Thanks,

Event details:
Saturday June 15th 6PM-12AM we will be hosting our annual Moonlight Walk at Sevenoaks Rugby club, in celebration and remembrance to all loved ones that were cared for at the Hospice. It’s an amazing evening, filled with music, food, drink, and the option to pick to walk either a 4, 8 or 13 mile walk.

We need over 100 volunteers to make Moonlight Walk possible, without this support, we simply can’t go ahead with the event. Volunteers are essential to the success of our events, they ensure our participants remain safe and importantly encourage them as they take on their challenge.
The main role of our volunteers is as route guides. You will be given a high vis, a route guide buddy and will be fully briefed ahead of the event with full instructions on where to stand and what direction to send the walkers. It’s such a wonderful evening, we’d love to have you involved.
