Harriers Winter Run

Club Events
You may have seen in the calendar of events for this month, next Sunday (26th November) we have the Harriers Winter Run. This is a new event, planned to be a sociable long run on a Sunday morning. If it is popular we will look to repeat it on a more regular basis and invite members to set the routes.
For this run we will start at the car park off Major York’s Road near the Common at 9am. The route is all on quiet roads and lanes but I’d recommend wearing something visible to traffic. We head out past High Rocks and then visit some of the small villages to the west of Tunbridge Wells including Groombridge, Fordcombe, Poundsbridge and Speldhurst, before heading back through Rusthall and eventually ending back to where we started. Note there is one short section on the A264 between Groombridge and Fordcombe you are advised to take care on.
The full route is 13.5 miles but there are options to cut short at a number of points by turning off and heading to Langton Road to take you back. A link to the route is below and I’d recommend copy and paste this into your browser to view as it may not open by clicking on it.
So Sunday 26th November at 9am. If you are looking to attend please could you drop me an email so I can have an idea of numbers.
Many Thanks,
Matt Newman
