Gentlemen,
The organising committee has confirmed a date for the year’s premier train-inn event – the Gentlemen’s Train-inn Evening (GTE) of Saturday 21st June, it will be a very longest day.
To those unfamiliar, the GTE is an historic locomotive-assisted (ASLEF permitting) running event that starts at the Old West Station next to Sainsbury’s and covers around 9 miles, with an equivalent number of hostelries, whilst attired in period-appropriate vestments.

Please note that the word ‘gentlemen’ is used in its looser context as neither the gender nor behaviour of attendees merits its use!
