Marathon Training Run (1/3)

Sun 9 February 2020 @ 08:00-12:00 GMT

Primarily for Spring marathon hopefuls (but open to all), we have 3 club runs planned:-

Sunday 9 February
Sunday 8 March
Sunday 29 March

For those who haven’t run these training runs before, the meeting point is at the Camden Arms Hotel in Pembury TN2 4PH, opposite the village green. The runs starts at 8am sharp. Groups of like-paced runners tend to form depending on numbers.

Two routes are available – a shorter route of 13.5 miles and the full route of 18 miles, with the shorter route omitting an extra loop at around mile 7. The routes are undulating, so don’t go out at 10k pace !

There will be water and sports drinks drops at mile 5.5, 11 and 15 on the longer route and mile 5.5 and 10.75 on the shorter one.

The roads are generally quiet although bright clothing is advised.

Garmin links to the two routes attached along with a map to print out:-
