Morning Harriers
It’s now exactly 4 weeks to go until this year’s Eridge 10 and preparations are going well.
Course Clearing
Many thanks to the hardcore crew that turned out yesterday. Not only did we manage to get a lot done but we spent most of the time in the woods so escaped the worst of the wet weather :-).
We have two more clearing sessions remaining: this coming weekend (Sat 31st Aug) and after the Tunbridge Wells parkrun takeover the following week (Sat 7th Sep).
Our Course Clearing Co-ordinator and Club Chairman George will be sending out details of where and when to meet for this weekend in the next few days.
Helping on the day (Sun 22nd Sep)
We now have enough volunteers to cover the various car parking and Race HQ roles. We still need about 35 people to help with course marshalling and water stations.
If you can help with either pre-event course clearing or marshalling/water stations on the day, please fill in the volunteering form below indicating your availability.

Dogs
A few people have asked whether they can bring their dogs with them on race day. Unfortunately the Eridge Estate have made it a condition of our event licence that no dogs are allowed anywhere on site.
‘Marshals’ Run (Sun 29th Sep)
In previous years we have held a ‘marshals’ run after the event for all the helpers. The Eridge Estate have given us permission to hold this on Sunday 29th Sep. All club members are invited. More details, including where and when to meet, will be sent out nearer the time.
Look forward to receiving your offers of help
Kind regards
Simon
