Club Records

News

There were two new club records set on Sunday 13 October.

No 1
At the Abbey Dash 10k in Leeds, Dillon Hobbs ran 30.35 for a new Senior Men’s record.

This year began with the Senior Men’s 10k record held by Billy Hobbs (31.43 in 2019) who broke the previous record that had stood for 30 years.

This was broken by Alex Reid (31.24) in March this year, improved again by Alex a month later (31.17) and then broken again by Liam White (31.01) in July.

So Dillon becomes the first Harrier under 31 minutes and returns the record to the Hobbs family!

No 2
At the Peterborough Half Marathon, Tara Taylor ran 1.36.25 for a new F60 record.

Tara now holds 3 of the Women’s Club Half Marathon records, having set the F45 back in 2013 and the F55 earlier this year at our own Tunbridge Wells race, where she ran 1.38.24

Fabulous running by both Dillon and Tara, setting the 42nd and 43rd club road records so far this year.

Cheers
