Tomorrow’s hash on Ashdown Forest will start from Friends’ car park which is on the Ridge Road to Nutley. From King’s Standing, take the B2026 south for just under a mile and then turn right crossing the cattle grid. The car park is on your right after about 3/4 of a mile. The closest post code for your satnavs is TN22 3HY – this is the first house past the car park, so if you cross another cattle grid, you’ve gone too far! The car park grid ref is TQ456288.
There will be three routes:
A walkers route of 2 miles, plus any of the next route you wish to add on.
A medium route of about 5 miles
A long route of about 7.5 miles.
The ground is very wet underfoot, so wear shoes with good grip and wrap up warm as it’s likely to be cold. If you have a dog, please make sure you bring a lead as there are a couple of busy roads to cross.
