Evening all.
Caspers’s wife Lindsey has asked me to pass on details for Caspers’s service, all of which can be found through the following link:
Tuesday, June 6th – private cremation, and then a big service in Hildenborough for everyone:

*Some great photos of Casper on the above site.
All Harriers are welcome at the big service in Hildenborough. The dress code is informal and Lindsey has asked if anyone wants to wear club colours she feels that would be really nice. A few of us are opting to wear a club colours tie, and I know some members who might be planning to attend will already have one. We ordered ours a few days ago and they came really quickly from the following website, but obviously, anyone who doesn’t want to wear a tie is welcome to wear different forms of club colours (or not obvs) and Lindsey has even said if people wanted to wear the deckchair vest over a shirt that would be totally fine…just no removing and going skins if it gets too hot :

Additionally, a few of us will be saying some words at the ceremony, as his close friends but also to represent Caspers time as a Harrier. If anyone has any particular thoughts, memories…or even funny stories about Cas (running, riding or drinking ) please feel free to email them to me directly (off group) and we will use them, either specifically or as inspiration for our words.
I will send a reminder email regarding the date and venue a little nearer the time.
Caspers’s death is still very raw for lot of us…I think about him every day, and about how amazing Lindsey and the kids are dealing with things. There is no pressure to attend, simply the service will be an opportunity for those that can, to show how important Cas was for the club and for us to try and say goodbye.
Many thanks and good luck to those racing tomorrow.
