So as I was 3rd Harrier home. And as it’s the 3rd of July, I get to write the race report!!
With celebratory cake, beer and a band at the finish, how could I say no! So this is the 4th time, I have run it! And actually really enjoyed it. Much better than the mud bath that was last year. After checking the weather forecast. I was a last minute entry only signing up on Wednesday.Â
It’s an mainly off road undulating route. Very well Organised by Wadhurst runners. Starts at Blacksmiths lane and takes you around the whole of Bewl. Road shoes were order of day, as Dillon and Amanda had kindly done a recce. It was bone dry, hardly any mud and actually a bit dusty. The second half is slightly hillier than the first.  The route this time, took slight divert through the fields at mile 13, due burst water main.Â
It was great to see other harriers there, some of whom it was the first time tackling it, and others using it as training run for upcoming marathons.Â
So resultsÂ
