On September 1st 2015 Ben Smith will be embarking on a challenge to run 401 marathons in 401 consecutive days around 309 different locations of the UK. The aim is to raise £250,000 for the charities, ‘Stonewall’ and ‘Kidscape’. Both these charities work to combat bullying in schools and society. He has asked local clubs for help so we have devised a half marathon route around the town, which he will cover twice. He would like people to keep him company on the run, which will start at St John’s Sports Centre at around10.30 (tbc).
