Hi Harriers
While most people were running and/or helping out in Eridge last Sunday a small group fought it out for individual and team honours at the Larkfield 10k.
All the results were pretty impressive, but once again Tara stood out, just a few days short of her 60th birthday.
We had a first time KGP appearance from Laura Whitehead who as well as being third woman also won team gold.

With only the Maidstone HM to go, surely it is Tara’s to lose.
If she doesn’t make it to the finish line, Ali, Jillian and Eren will be waiting in the wings.
The last event in the Grand Prix is the Maidstone Half Marathon on Sunday 20th October 2024, Mote Park.
The route starts and finishes within the Park and heads out into the countryside via a few of the town roads.
It’s time to commit. 
The club road Grand Prix Trophy is designed to encourage Harriers to race more often, and on equal terms with all other members as the results are adjusted for age and gender. Each race of the ten Kent Grand Prix series counts towards our club road grand prix with a percentage result based on finishing time, age and gender. This percentage is calculated according to the 2015 WAVA scale. The winner is the runner with the best score at the end of the season, that is the average of their best five percentages over the series.
