Sunday 6th May 18
Back in February, I took part in the Chichester 10k, which had been designated as the southern selection race for an England Athletics masters’ team – a new initiative by the governing body. Running 35:19, I qualified for the team as 1stM55, and the Bank Holiday weekend’s Birmingham 10k was the big day to run for England against the rest of the home nations. It’s taken me this long to get over the result and write the report!
This year’s Christmas Hash on Ashdown Forest will start from Broadstone car park this Sunday morning at 10.30am. The car park is just before the Ashdown Forest Centre (RH18 5JP) on the road from Coleman’s Hatch to Wych Cross.
The best route from TW is to firstly make your way to Hartfield via Groombridge. When you have passed through Upper Hartfield, turn left onto the road to Coleman’s Hatch and Wych Cross which will take you up towards the Ashdown Forest Centre. The car park is only a few yards before the Centre on the right hand side of the road.
