Tunbridge Wells Harriers' George Harris and Michael Russell took part in the 25th Anniversary of The North Downs 30K Run on Sunday.
In hot conditions and in his first 30K race, George finished in 147th place in a time of 2hrs 50mins 38secs. Michael showed his continued improvement this year with 163rd place in a time of 2hrs 53mins 31secs.
The winner was Philip Sanger of Epsom & Ewell Harriers in 1hr 58mins 8secs. 1st Lady home was Tina Oldershaw of Paddock Wood AC in 2hrs 17mins 20secs, coming 21st overall. 407 runners finished the undulating, hilly and mostly off-road course.
